Vintage 1977 Benge Flugelhorn #5 Bell & Benge Double Case. Made In Los Angeles. Serial Number 22xxx. Valves In Good Shape. All Slides Pop, Good Compression. Silver Is 100%, Case Is In Good Shape, Too, No Funny Smells. Bell Has A Few Pings/small Dents From Mutes Banging Around In The Case. Does Not Affect Tone Or Playability. Horn Has Had No Repairs Of Any Kind. A real Gem. Gets A Beautiful Dark Sound. Comes with a mouthpiece, oil, slide grease and extra felts. Item is for sale locally and subject to prior sale.
C.G. Conn Vintage Silver Conqueror Trumpet (Vocabell) manufactured in Elkhart, IN. Model is 40B, Serial number 309401 dates to approximately 1936-1937. It is a narrow body, Art Deco style with extensive engraving on the bell. Bell is rimless with gold wash inside. There is a small dent (see picture) and some very minor small dents here and there that come with use and age. There is one place with finish wear. Needs cleaning, has frozen slides and needs a waterkey spring. It plays as is and has a wonderful tone! Comes with a case and mouthpiece labeled “conn 4”.
